Description
AMUN 2021 is a Model UN crisis conference put on by the Albany Model UN team. This conference will consist of two committee sessions in which delegates will have the opportunity to participate in a crisis style committee!
This year, our topic will be the Cuban Missile Crisis where you will take part in the Soviet Unions’ decisions. If enough people show interest, the conference will be expanded to two rooms, adding the side of the United States.
Date
The conference will be held on April 24th and will have two committee sessions:

| Committee Session 2 | 1:30pm – 4:00pm |
Research
You will be expected to research you characters but traditional position papers will not be required. Students instead will write brief answers to questions about their character. Students are required to read the topic synopsis before entering committee.
